 Scan Coin 3003VA and 3003 VA Plus
Coin Counter
    Models SC 3003 and 3003 VA are the results of nearly two decades of ongoing development of the SCAN COIN 3000-series of coin counting machines. The 3000 VA series has the same features as the standard SC 3003. See the SC 3003 page for a list of these basic features. The following features are found only on the SC 3003 VA / VA plus.

Features

• Dual displays for both unit count and value count
• Selected denomination is shown on the display
• Up to 15 denominations can be selected with two pre-programmed stops per denomination
• Automatic coin value selection when the selector knob is moved
• Counts for
  • Partial bag count for selected denomination (unit count)
  • Total count for each denomination (unit count)
  • Total value for all denominations
  • Number of complete bags/wraps for the selected denomination
• Visual indication of memory non-zero, machine running, mode selected and large or small quantity stop selected
• Three modes of operation:
  • Value mode, displaying value of all denominations counted, no quantity stop
  • Batching mode, displaying counted value for selected denomination; bag count is cleared when the count is cleared
  • Subtotal batch mode, displaying counted value for selected denomination; bag count is reset independently from reset of counted value
• Optional printer for receipt with 10 digit ID and all coin data
• Integrated 12-key pad for data entry, Serial interface, SI2, (optional on SC 3003 VA and standard on SC 3003 VA plus) giving:
  • Printer connection with printer buffer of 1K enabling counting to continue while receipt is printing
  • OR Computer link with secure data format for transferring counts with remote control from computer with access to count at any time
  • OR Bar-code input of IDs
• Serial interface, SI2 (optional on SC3003VA and standard on SC303VA plus) giving:
  • Printer connection with printer buffer of 1K enabling counting to continue with receipt is printing

    OR    Computer link with secure data format for transferring counts with remote control from computer with access to counts at any time

    OR    Bar code input of IDs

• Same features as on SC3003 VA
• Expanded memory with up to 300 subtotals
• Real time clock with date and time stamps on print outs
• Optional key pad RK1 for dispensing any amount
• Dispense mode with up to 5 pre-programmed stops
• Includes RD/AUX and RS232 interfaces
