Economical to operate and easy to use, the Canon Microprinter 60 sets new performance standards for reliable reproduction of microform images. Canon's patented Single Cartridge System contains almost everything that can run out or wear out - toner, drum and development unit - in one easily replaceable cartridge, for virtually maintenance-free performance.
Fast and Convenient
The MP-60 warms up in just 25 seconds and requires only 10 seconds to deliver an initial print in its conveniently located front paper tray. The unit features a print speed of eight prints per minute, a manual control lever for simple density adjustment, and offers convenient paper handling, thanks to a snap-in, 250-sheet cassette tray. What’s more, users can preset as many as nine copies for multiple printing, as well as obtain clean, borderless prints and optimum image contrast through optional Masking Printing and Automatic Exposure Control Functions.
Superb Optics
World-renowned Canon optics provide sharp screen images and enable precision reproduction of images from all types of microfiche. The MP-60 features a single zoom lens covering 17X to 47X that handles all standard COM fiche images. Prism-mounted lenses are also available to handle document fiche and rollfilms.
Built-in Versatility
Optional, roll carriers equip the MP-60 to handle rollfilms. Moreover, the system’s standard bimodal capability is facilitated by a simple cartridge exchange.
Economical Operation
The MP-60 is specially designed to offer the optimum in efficient operation. A unique power-saving, Reader-only Mode conserves power consumption when the MP-60 is used for reading only. Furthermore, because the system uses Canon’s exclusive all-in-one MP-20 Cartridge System, virtually no maintenance is required to keep the unit in top operating condition. A simple replacement of the MP-20 Cartridge lets the MP-60 consistently deliver top-quality printouts.
Desktop Installation
Conveniently unobtrusive, the MP-60 requires just 19" x 28" of desktop space. And getting the system up and running is also a convenient and easy procedure. Users simply insert the MP Cartridge and Paper Supply Cassette, activate the “ON” switch, and the MP-60 is ready for use.
Comfortable Reading
The MP-60 features a built-in fiche carrier with an easy indexing system, making fiche loading and image location effortless procedures. A specially coated, 11" x 11" screen with reading cursor offers comfortable viewing of on-screen images. Image viewing is further enhanced by the system’s single, wide-range zoom lens for COM fiche reproduction and by optional, replaceable single magnification lenses with optical image rotation.
