Epson’s patented SEAJet (Static Electricity Actuated) technology is the most advanced inkjet technology available for banking today. Unlike thermal inkjet technology, SEAJet features a precision nozzle that produces a very high concentration of uniform dots which results in crisp, clear, easy-to-read graphics and text.

Designed specifically for Epson’s inkjet printers, SmartPass technology combines high-speed MICR reading, check printing and check endorsement all in one pass. No other inkjet printer offers this functionality at the teller station.

The TM-J7000 and TM-J7100 have an autocutter life of 1.5 million cuts and an MCBF of 50 million lines— far more reliable than any other inkjet printers. The color cartridge lasts up to 15 million characters. The built-in counter monitors printer functions to simplify maintenance. In fact, Epson’s TM-J7000 and TM-J7100 inkjet printers have a TCO as low as impact printers.
